On Tuesday, 6th April, our active retirement group travelled to the Third Age Centre in Summerhill, Co. Meath, for an afternoon of dancing preceded by lunch. Overall, there were almost 200 people from various groups in attendance on the day. The band included former members of Joe Dolan’s band and Daniel O’Donnell’s band and they played an energetic and eclectic set for three hours straight. The dance floor was hopping all afternoon and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon.

There were some sore feet and knees that evening and the next day but the pain was well worth it!
