This Week in the Cookery Class We Made Scones

This week’s Star Ingredient is Flour and we will make scones. As Caitriona says; “Flour is a core ingredient in baking and there are so many recipes that use it.” Let’s get cooking.

You will need; 180g of plain flour

100g of wholemeal flour

1 tsp of baking powder

1/4 tsp of salt

60g of butter (cubed)

1 egg beaten

4-6 tbsp of buttermilk
