The ARG group went to Bewley’s Café Theatre to see The Rising of the Moon a play by Lady Gregory. The staff in Bewley’s were very welcoming as was the staff in the Theatre. The lunchtime show was a short show of 30 minutes leaving plenty of time for anyone to watch it during their lunch break.
The actors were very good and there was a good suspensive atmosphere created whilst the officers were on the lookout for a dangerous criminal.
There was plenty of tables and chairs for everyone to sit at and you could buy some soup and brown bread whilst the show was on. The Theatre itself was fully accessible by lift and had full access to accessible bathrooms
Mansion House Outing
The ARG group went to the Mansion House for an exhibition and discussion on Accessibility. The exhibition was called Access to the Public Realm in Picture.
The discussion was supported by The Lord Mayor of Dublin Daithi de Roiste, Cllr Declan Meenagh and Mick Keegan a member of the Disability Thematic Group.
A very informative presentation was provided and at the end of the presentation there was time for questions and answers.
The group were also invited to participate in some tea/coffee and some croissants.
