Sensory play is vital in the development of young minds and skills,
Michelle, our student on placement from IT Blanchardstown lead a fantastic session on sensory art this week by taking our youth group through a journey of their senses.
The whole group got involved by sticking their hands into the silk putty and were really creative in the colours and smells they chose which stimulated their senses.
A great for us to develop our communication, language and self confidence while exploring our imagination and learning about the world around us.
