For the past 5 years, Ozanam House has held its annual fundraiser, Ozanam Come Dancing, which, owing to its success, now acts as one of the main sources of financial support for the Centre. This event has become a huge success since its commencement in 2013.
This year’s Ozanam Come Dancing event will take place in Liberty Hall, on Friday, 9th March to a packed audience of 400 people. The show will be hosted by television personality Brendan Courtney who will be joined by our celebrity judges Mary Black and Katherine Lynch. Dedicated volunteers, which include members of our Centre, and also other partner companies such as Independent News and Media, McCann FitzGerald, AIB, Diageo and Deloitte are practicing hard and putting the final touches to their routines.
Last year we raised €41,500 which provided crucial funding for our summer youth programmes. This meant we were able to extend our capacity, and offered 280 children and young people from the North Inner City a safe place to come over the summer weeks in 2017 where they engaged in our summer projects here in the Centre.
Support Ozanam House and our Summer Youth Programmes
Ozanam House, as a project of the Society of Saint Vincent de Paul, provides childcare, youth programmes, adult education classes and community programmes for the elderly, to over 500 members of our community. As mentioned above, we were able to offer 280 children and young people a safe environment during the summer months last year and we hope to do the same again this year. These months can be the most worrying for parents in the Inner City with a lack of focused and safe activities available in the area. With a team of over 60 volunteers we provide their children with a memorable experience in a safe, nurturing, yet fun-filled environment.
Support our Ozanam Come Dancing
This year we hope that you might be able to get involved as well, by sponsoring one of our dancers in the event and becoming one of our premium sponsors.
The cost of this Premium Sponsorship Package is €950.
- Your direct sponsorship of a dancer will be promoted and highlighted throughout our advanced advertising of the event, (online, social media, visual media, posters and promo events),throughout the venue and from the stage on the night.
- You will be marked and acknowledged as the dancers’ sponsor in their pre-recorded clips shown from the stage prior to their dance.
- You will receive a full-page advert in the programme which will be given complimentary to all 400 audience members as well as to all of our corporate sponsors, SVP members, our community network, and Centre service users.
- You will receive 2 complimentary tickets with priority seating for the show.
- You and your fellow ticket holders will also receive access to our exclusive Sponsors Lounge in Liberty Hall with complimentary food and drink throughout the event.
10 major national and international firms are already involved including:
McCann FitzGerald Solicitors, AIB, Adobe, Abbey Capital,
Independent News & Media, Diageo, Deloitte and Dance World.
Each are supporting their own staff on the stage and senior management from each firm will be in attendance on the night.
