Last Thursday, we celebrated all of the great work of our volunteers by throwing a ‘Dinner Party’ here in Ozanam House. We had some delicious food and beverages.

We presented our long-serving volunteers with certifications to commemorate their time here. Elvira has volunteered with our Active Retirement Group for 15 years and Linda and Maeve have volunteered with the older Youth Programmes for 5 years. We also presented Roisín with a special thank you gift for all her help throughout her time here in the centre before she departs for a new adventure in Limerick.  The event gave the volunteers from the different groups a chance to mingle as they otherwise don’t always get the chance to meet each other, sit and chat. Our centre manager Tony shared a few words about how important our volunteers are to the running of Ozanam House. We truly could not function without them.
