The Men’s Group have been busy with a trip to the cinema a few weeks ago to see ‘North Circular’ – musical odyssey traveling the length of Dublin’s North Circular Road, from the Phoenix Park to Dublin Port, exploring the history, music and residents of this richly storied street.

More recently, the men tucked into a load of pancakes for Pancake/Shrove Tuesday. Yum!

This week they also took a trip to the National Museum and had a look at the archaeology and other artefacts on display. Afterwards, they enjoyed a bite to eat at the Chez Max Café.

After a few delays, last year’s Pool competition was completed. Joe took the title after a tense first frame which Christy unluckily lost by potting the white with the black on the final ball and Joe comfortably taking the 2nd frame for the win.

Last Wednesday, the ARG took a trip to the world class Chester Beatty Library to view the fantastic exhibitions there including: the Asian Collection of artefacts, manuscripts, the Emperor’s Robe and many more exotic, fascinating and wonderful items.

Afterwards, the group relaxed at the Library’s Silk Road Café for a cuppa and bite to eat.
