The Parnell Street Branch of Tesco Ireland, under their Community Fund scheme, has again very kindly donated the sum of €1,1340 to us at Ozanam House.
We are grateful for the kindness they have shown over many years and wish to thank them for their continued generosity.
The Tesco Community Fund was launched in July 2014, to support local good causes in the communities around each of our 176 stores throughout Ireland. Every 12 weeks, each Tesco store donates up to €2,000 between three local good causes in its community.
As a Partner Service, we offer subsidy schemes to parents and receive Core Funding. This Parent Statement outlines some of the important things you can expect from us, as a Partner Service. This Parent Statement is provided as a condition of the Core Funding Partner Service Funding Agreement, the NCS, ECCE and CCSP Saver Funding agreements and informs the agreement in place between us {input service name} and the parents/guardians that use our service. The Minister of Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth is not a party to this agreement which is solely between the service and parent/guardian.

The Active Retirement Group and the Mens group had their Christmas Party on Friday last. They enjoyed a good Christmas meal, exchanged presents and had a good dance with many tunes on offer and including a performance from our local Elvis impersonator.
Ozanam House are delighted to have been awarded a grant from Dublin Bus under their Community Spirit Award program. This will enable us to further support ARG activities in the local community in the coming months.
Thanks to Dublin Bus for their wonderful generousity and support.
Sandra and Noel beat off all the competition with their excellent Jive rendition of “Runaway Baby” by Bruno Mars to take the top spot.

Maeve My name is Maeve Gaffney. I am involved with the Ozanam House through volunteering with the Trinity College Saint Vincent de Paul Society. I am a Biomedical Sciences student. I also work part-time for Triton Property Ventures. I have always enjoyed dancing. In the past, I did Ballet, Tap, and a little Salsa. I am excited that my friends from college encouraged me to participate in the Ozanam Coming Dancing competition. I hope my partner Lauren and I can dance our way through the Charleston and raise funds for the Ozanam House without getting stage fright.
Lauren My name is Lauren and I’m ‘Legally Blonde’: a bubbly, energetic law student studying in Trinity College Dublin, desperate to escape the library and eager to return to the world of showbiz. Prior to the pandemic, I danced Music Theatre, Ballet and even Hip Hop/Breakdancing! It’s time to put back on my dance shoes, embrace a new adventure and put down my law textbooks, momentarily.
My involvement with SVP has been lifelong but it has deepened through my involvement in Trinity SVP. In particular, I love to volunteer my time with the Street Outreach Initiative. I look forward to further increasing my involvement this year.
Maeve and I are the blonde best friends you need to keep an eye out for! Double trouble! But blondes really do have more fun!
If you would like to sponsor us, you can do so through the SVP website.
Peter Mark is intertwined with the very fabric of Irish fashion, since their early days on Grafton Street and those first game-changing haircuts. Their teams have been at the forefront of style since 1961, shaping the trends of Irish hair and again have kindly provided sponsorship of Ozanam Come Dancing 2022.
Ozanam Come Dancing would not take place as an event without the hard work and generosity of these companies that support us. Thank you!
