Rachel McClelland and Donal Whyte

Dancing the Paso Doble.

Rachel’s hobbies include running and reading, while Donal enjoys golf, traveling and running. Although they have no previous dance experience, they are working extremely hard now.

They did not know each other before this experience, Rachel works in FK International and Donal is a volunteer in Ozanam House.

They both took part to raise as much funds as possible for the Ozanam Youth Group Programmes & Summer Projects. Also they feel it will be a good experience.

Ellen’s hobbies are music, drama, swimming, yoga and reading. Shane’s hobbies are watching movies and public speaking.
Although Shane doesn’t have much experience dancing, Ellen has experience with ballet classes as a kid and has performed in musicals and plays.
They both knew each other before this event and decided to take part so that they could meet new people, give back to charity, learn a dance from a professional and to have fun!

Rebecca Russell Carrol and Barry Walsh

Dancing the Jive.

Rebecca and Barry in their mean time just like chillin’ out, maxin’ & relaxin’ all cool.

Their dance experience basically entails all their moves at Copper’s, Diceys and in front of the mirror, when no one’s watching…

They decided to take part in this event due to their long friendship of eight years. That’s including the college days and eventually professional colleagues at McCann Fitzgerald.

Ida Mitrani and Cian O’Daly

Dancing the Cha Cha Cha.

Cian’s hobbies are cycling, football, and gaming. Cian once was the ugly step sister in a school production of Cinderella in primary school, and that’s about as much performance skills and experience he has.

Over the last number of years, Cian has been concentrating on striking the right balance between work and family life. He has two small children and doesn’t have much time for activities outside of that. He decided he wanted to challenge himself and do something he’s never done before.

Ida loves art, literature, food, and wine! Great fun! And she has indeed had some dance experience before. Although she did not know her partner Cian before this event, she is extremely positive overall with the song and dance.
